Quotes of the Month

An expert with almost 50 years of experience in the food industry noticed Jeromie’s advice to “Wash your food with soap and rinse it in filtered water” in his discredited article on radiation from Fukushima. And of course, he weighed in:

It’s beyond my comprehension as to why someone would close an article with such a highly flawed statement. btw, wanna feel real sick n’ shitty??? go ahead and wash your food with soap. Taking advice about radioactive food sources from a video game designer??? … if you’re food’s radioactive then find a new food source, sure as hell you wouldn’t want to rinse it or even touch it. I’m going on 50 years of near constant involvement in the food industry & I’ve never once heard of washing food with soap, not fucking once. Don’t believe me? Google it. It is recommended to never wash food with soap, don’t do it.

FYI everyone! prolonged exposure to radioactivity DOES NOT rinse away. … if you want gaming advice or the latest cheats for Grand Theft Auto then I’d contact Jeromie Williams, it’s no surprise to me that his bio blurb above doesn’t mention any science or food service credentials. this gamer is so full of shit it makes me sick that someone … saw fit to publish this accumulation of non-factual drivel.

The truth is that we’re probably a decade or more away from making any convincing factual studies about the Fukushima event on North American health issues. Now I’m headed to the market where I’ll buy & eat some Washington state apples without even rinsing them. Later tonight if y’all see a brilliant glow coming from the direction of northern MN you’ll know I was wrong & Jeromie was right.

Personally, I wouldn’t ask Jeromie for advice on Grand Theft Auto, either. Though I guess you could say he is a bit of an expert on theft.

UPDATE: The good folks at Reddit got in on the fun as well. Here’s a sample:

Jeromie Williams: “It’s Okay to Call Elisa Chan a Chink”

I’m basically speechless, but, for the record, no, Jeromie Williams, it’s not okay to call anyone a “chink.” Ever.

As we have noted previously, Jeromie has a long history of posting xenophobic screeds against various other races, including Asians. His most Sinophobic posts fearmongered about poison dog food from China, while his many Nipponophobic posts have fearmongered about killer radiation from Japan, based on the Fukushima hoax.

Jeromie Williams Lies About 17-Year-Old Candidate Jacob Daruvala

It seems the criminal fraud artist Jeromie Williams has twisted the words of a promising young activist, 17-year-old Jacob Daruvala, of California, out of context, after stealing his press release from YoungProgressiveVoices.com, and subsequently being fired from two liberal internet news sites.

In other words, it’s just a typical day at the office for Jeromie. (Not in an actual office, of course.)

Mr. Daruvala clarifies the matter on his Facebook page:

There has been an article written about me which has taken my words completely out of context.

First of all, the writer, Jeromie Williams, was fired from two liberal internet news sites, because (among other things) he STOLE a press release I gave solely to YoungProgressiveVoices.com.

Second, the post from which he found my personal thoughts was deleted only 3 minutes after I posted it because it did not clearly express what I wanted it to.

Third, in this article, he says that my comment “she put it there” was saying that a woman bears sole responsibility for the child. That was not even remotely close to what my statement meant. Of course a man was involved in the process, that is how reproduction works. My statement was simply that a woman involved in consensual sex takes part in creating that child (ALONG WITH THE MAN) and the child had no choice in being created! That is exactly what I said. Look at the statement yourself here:
“In the same conversation, he told me “the baby has no right to forcibly occupy the woman’s property.” That baby had no choice in anything! The baby didn’t crawl up there to hide, she put it there! That is one of the most anti-science statements I have ever heard.”

This man’s extremely irresponsible “journalism” was nothing more than an out of context hit piece out of vengeance. I never once said the man is absolved from all responsibility.

My post was not that abortion should be banned, it was that the life of the child should at least be considered. It was a RESPONSE to someone who told me, “Who cares if she kills the damn thing anyway?”

I know if you read that statement, even if you’re pro-choice, that statement made you cringe.

It does indeed. And so does Jeromie Williams.

UPDATE: A confidential informant has revealed that Jeromie slandered Mr. Daruvala in order to “get back at” the site Addicting Info for firing him:

HuffPo Commenter Accuses Jeromie Williams of Stealing for Heroin

According to our very reliable sources, the criminal fraud artist Jeromie Williams is a “pretty heavy pot user” and an alcoholic, who regularly drinks Jameson whiskey for lunch.

Well, yesterday, suspicions were raised that Jeromie may also have a heroin problem.

In the comments on a Huffington Post article on heroin overdoses in Vancouver, Jeromie defended heroin addicts:

He took issue, in particular, with a commenter named “Thunder Blood” (TB), who raised some questions about the INSITE program in Vancouver. While the program may be a success, TB wondered:

“[W]here do you think these junkies get the money to shoot up each and everyday, huh? Though various crimes like scamming and robbing innocent people of their hard earned money and property, that’s where.”

Now, of course, this blog has revealed that Jeromie has stolen thousands of dollars though embezzlement and ChipIn fraud. When his victims asked for their money, he threatened to kill them, again, and again. (You can listen to recordings of his threatening voicemail and telephone rants for yourself.)

It is possible that this money went not just to buy marijuana and whiskey, but for heroin as well?

In reply, Jeromie complained about the stereotype that all addicts are thieves:

TB’s response is priceless:

He may not have realised just how right he may be.
